Based in Quainton, Buckinghamshire the George & Dragon – Coffee Shop & Tea Room warmly invite you to enjoy breakfast and lunch options, along with a diverse array of hot and cold beverages. Whether you prefer to relax indoors, soak up the ambience outdoors, or grab a takeaway, we offer homemade cakes, sandwiches, pastries, and soups, as well as milkshakes, smoothies, and ice creams!
Eat in or takeaway, if you’re in a rush you can call ahead and pre-order. All of our hot drinks are available in takeaway cups. Our milkshakes, smoothies and ice creams are ideal for the summer which you can have in or take away.
With Darren baking cakes for 10 years, he makes homemade cakes to order. Catering for funerals, birthdays, special occasions or just in general! Please get in touch with your cake requests.
With our upstairs seating for 25 people, it is a great space to host an event, whether it be a baby shower, afternoon tea, a meeting, a funeral, or a space for a birthday party.
Our local butcher, Parrot Bros, supplies us with the finest, locally sourced meats and produce. We gladly accept orders for your convenience, and you can collect them directly from us.

We are tucked up opposite the green next to the pub. Perfect route and destination stop-off for cyclists and walkers.
George and Dragon Coffee Shop & Tea Room is a small, independent business based in Quainton, Buckinghamshire. The shop is run and owned by Darren, for over 10 years, whose passion for baking keeps the coffee shop thriving with customers!
We are a great stop-off point for cyclists and walkers, with plenty of footpaths and cycle routes around, alongside being ideal for popping in before or after the school run!
There is also the Quainton Windmill which is open Sunday mornings 10am-12.30pm and there is the Buckinghamshire Railway Station so we are the perfect place to have some lunch after or some breakfast just beforehand!
We believe in supporting local independent businesses so that’s why we use suppliers who are local to us!
